Licensing Update Required

We’re excited to announce that DJ Swivel plugins have officially transitioned to Swivel Audio, and are now being distributed through Plugin Alliance. This change brings a more robust licensing system, improved installation experience, and ongoing updates — but it does require a quick action from you.

 

What This Means for You

• Your existing DJ Swivel plugins are now considered legacy versions.
• You can redeem your existing DJ Swivel serial numbers for the new Swivel Audio (Plugin Alliance) versions completely free of charge.
• We’ve built a handy migration helper inside your Swivel Audio user account. Alternatively you can gather your old DJ Swivel license codes and visit the Plugin Alliance redemption page to migrate your licenses.
• If you don’t already have a Plugin Alliance account, you’ll be prompted to create one during the process.

 

Important Dates

• As of August 13, 2025, the DJ Swivel plugin versions will no longer receive updates
• Activation servers for DJ Swivel plugins will be shut down on December 31, 2025. After this date, you will no longer be able to activate the DJ Swivel versions of our plugins, and versions that are already installed and activated will stop working. It is recommended you freeze tracks or commit audio on old sessions that use the legacy products. Moving forward we will only support the Plugin Alliance versions of Swivel Audio plugins.

 

Compatibility Notes

• The new Swivel Audio (Plugin Alliance) versions can be installed side by side with your existing DJ Swivel plugins.
• User presets are compatible between both versions.
  To migrate user presets, copy them from the old user preset folder into the new user preset folder.Old user preset locations:
  Mac: /Library/Application Support/DJ Swivel/Plugin Name/Presets
  PC: C:\Program Files\Common Files\DJ Swivel\Plugin Name\PresetsNew user preset locations
  Mac: /Library/Application Support/Plugin Alliance/Swivel Audio Plugin Name/Presets
  PC: :\Program Files\Common Files\Plugin Alliance\Swivel Audio Plugin Name\Presets

We highly recommend you update now to ensure continued access, compatibility, and support for your plugins going forward.
